CRESTED BUDGERIGAR CLUB MEMBERS SHOW - MAY 2011

Our club held their first Annual Members Show in conjunction with the Rare Variety & Colour B.S. on 22nd May in Loddington and the show was judged by Janice Al-Nasser, the President of the RV&CBS. There were 17 crests benched by 4 exhibitors and this is a good start that we can build on for the future.

Unfortunately there was only one tuft benched and that was of Sheila Cook; Tufted Opaline Light Green cock. The Circular cock class was a good competitive class of 12 birds benched and the winner and that of Best Crest in Show was a Circular Spangle Light Green cock benched in good condition with good crest by Dave Moss. Dave also won the Best Crest Opposite Sex with a Half Circular Spangle White Blue hen. Best Crest Young Bird also went to Dave Moss with a Circular Spangle Dark Green cock.
